UFC fighter, Jessy Jess’ surprise BJJ grading

Australian Girls in Gi (AGIG) is a community of more than 2000 women in Australia that provides members with access to an online forum for obtaining information about upcoming AGIG events, to seek support from female athletes and mentors while also providing a discussion platform between members. 

Over the years, founder, event director and black belt, Jess Fraser, has run a number of successful events and is well known in the jiu-jitsu community, both here and overseas.

For 2019, Jess managed to score some big names to attend the AGIG camp, including world champion Heather Raftery, UFC fighter Alex Chambers, and UFC fighter, Jessica-Rose Clark – AKA, Jessy Jess.

Jessy Jess is an Australian mixed martial artist currently fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the flyweight division and, at this years Australian Girls in Gi (AGIG) camp, Jess Fraser, surprised Jessy Jess with her purple belt!
